Wilkes-Barre City Mayor George C. Brown announced a Code Blue in the city Sunday night. Calvary Bible Church, located at 410 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre, will serve as Wilkes-Barre’s Code Blue shelter.
The plan will be in effect during overnight hours from 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, through 7 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026.
