Boss Nathan Jones says Charlton need to make sure their FA Cup third round tie against Chelsea does not turn into an "autograph session".

Liam Rosenior won his first game as Chelsea's new head coach, beating Charlton 5-1 in the FA Cup third round. In his pre-match press conference, the Blues boss urged fans to judge him on performances and results, and got off to a good start with victory at The Valley.

It comes after Standard Sport reported earlier on Thursday that the Chelsea Under-21s head coach Calum McFarlane will be joining Rosenior as one of his coaches, having impressed Rosenior during his two-match stint as Chelsea’s caretaker head coach following the departure of Enzo Maresca.

Liam Rosenior turned to Chelsea 's second string for his first game in charge as his new team thrashed Charlton 5-1 at the Valley to ease into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Chelsea will be coached by the interim manager, Calum McFarlane, against Fulham today. This is expected to be McFarlane’s final game in charge of the team, with Rosenior expected to coach his first Chelsea match as new manager on the weekend against Charlton Athletic in Round 3 of the FA Cup.
